Reed Receives Controversial Penalty

Reed often referred to as the Young Gun on tour is in the news again, but this time it is not as a result of his quick drawing game, but rather his easily tempered attitude.
Where Reed is seldom known for his popularity on tour, he has been known to push the limits of this humbled gentlemen's sport.
Nevertheless, call it wrong place, wrong time, or call it whatever you will, Reed's actions during the first round of the WGC-HSBC Championship at Sheshan International Golf Club were far from gentlemanly.

Rory McIlroy announced Thursday that he will be taking a sabbatical from the tour to focus on his lawsuit against his former management company, Horizon Sports.
What is anticipated to be a lengthy legal battle between these two, McIlroy will miss the BMW Masters at the end of October and the WGC-HSBC Championships in November as a result (possibly more).
"I'm going to need time away from tournament golf to prepare for the trial over my legal dispute with Horizon Sports Management," McIlroy said. "The court-directed mediation process failed over the weekend to resolve the issue."

Two months ago Paulina Gretzky, daughter of Wayne Gretzky, and future wife of Dustin Johnson took to Instagram announcing their anticipation of their first child saying:
“Dustin Johnson and I are so excited to finally share with you all our amazing news - we’re having a baby,” Gretzky said on Instagram.
DJ and Gretzky have been together since 2011 and were scheduled to be engaged in 2013, but was postponed due to Johnson's personal problem's and out of respect to his future father.
According to Wayne Gretzky, Dustin Johnson is going through a rough patch in his life and in hopes of his future family he hopes that Johnson's sabbatical from the tour will be a good influence on the man he wants to be.

Golf Digest was proud to announce that one of their very own photographers is at it again with a new rendition of Cy Cyr Cover Boys.
Reminiscing about last spring issue of Golf Digest Paulina Gretzky's cover reimagined by Cyr, these male models became known as the "#GretzkyBoys".
According to Golf Digest that rendition got nearly as much attention as the real cover.
However, Cyr fame was not short lived as, Cyr reconstructed Paper Magazine's rendition of Kim Kardashian's "Break the Internet," series.
