Bubba Does It Again

By Jeremy Beale

The 78th Master's Championship brought in tough competition this year as the competitors gathered in Augusta, Ga., fairing against each other head to head. Those who stood on Augusta National Golf Club's stomping grounds witnessed the rise and fall of champions.

Bubba Watson returned to his former glory in style, as upon the last day no one could match him. Not even the young contender Jordan Speith who matches up with Watson until the end. Dominating Augusta Watson was recognized as the first professional to win two masters jackets within two years of each (2012, 2014) other since the early 1950s.

Finishing with an 8-under-par, the big-hitting lefty from Windermere, Flori., was welcomed into the elite Green Jackets Club once more.

No one knows what it is until they experience it, no one knows what it feels like until they have achieved it and no one knows how to attain it until it has already been won.

Victory – the ultimate pursuit of every athlete who steps foot onto their battlegrounds. For golfers it is almost that time again, where over 100 athletes from around the globe, gather together for the most prestigious competition in golf history – The Masters.

Welcomed into the Great Peach State of Georgia, golfers will compete on the competitive lands of Augusta National Golf Club.

Merion Proves to be Worthy Adversary

By Jeremy Beale

People may forget the events that occurred at the 113th U.S. Open Championship and people may forget who competed, but there is one thing they will never – Merion was the course that demanded more from the pros than they could offer.

Through all the tears, frustration, praise and ridicule, the pros fought valiantly against a course that did not care if they were No.1 in the world, did not care if they won prior U.S. Opens and did not care if they held the lead for three straight days.

Merion did not discriminate, but challenged every professional to step foot onto its stomping grounds.

The Road to Merion

By Jeremy Beale

On the eve of the 113th Anniversary of the U.S. Open, once again everyone is looking towards golf icon Tiger Woods for a spectacular showing. It has been five years since Woods last won the U.S. Open and it has also been five years since Woods claimed a major victory on the PGA Tour.

However, with his four most recent wins on the professional stage, golf fans everywhere are asking will Woods take home the 2013 Merion Cup.

With all speculations aside, it does not matter whether or not the 2013 Memorial Tournament was Woods practice for Merion, it does not matter if Woods is dating Lindsey Vonn, nor does it matter if Sergio Garcia told Woods he can join him for fried chicken. All that matters at this point is the question, “has Woods started to resemble his former self.”
